Thomas F. Healy is the founding partner of the firm. After four years practicing as an Assistant District Attorney and as an associate at another personal injury firm, Mr. Healy established the firm in 1983. Mr. Healy has tried hundreds of jury trials over the past 26 years in the District,
Superior , and Federal Courts of Massachusetts.
Mr. Healy concentrates on catastrophic personal injury, including brain injuries and wrongful death cases. Mr. Healy has extensive experience with construction and trucking accidents, product liability cases, alcohol-related cases, and litigation involving fire, explosion, and electrocution. Mr. Healy has represented clients in national, multi-district defective drug litigation.
As the father of a cerebral palsied young man, Mr. Healy understands the tragic impact of medical malpractice upon a family. Mr. Healy has substantial experience representing families and parties in medical malpractice cases.
Mr. Healy is a member of the American Trial Lawyers Association and a member and past Board of Governors member of the Massachusetts Academy of Trial Attorneys. From 1991 to 1998, two Governors of Massachusetts appointed Mr. Healy to serve as a member and chairman of the committee which interviewed applicants for judgeships in
Massachusetts , and made recommendations to the Governor concerning their appointment.
Mr. Healy has participated in numerous civic organizations and is a long-time resident of
Concord and Medfield. As a young man, Mr. Healy traveled and studied extensively in East Africa. Mr. Healy is married and is the father of three children.
